The ZVO Surface Days 2024 in Leipzig once again proved to be an indispensable platform for the surface technology industry. With a clear focus on sustainable business practices and resource conservation, experts, manufacturers, and users came together to discuss the latest developments and innovations and to exchange experiences.
The topic of sustainability was particularly in the spotlight this year. In numerous presentations and discussions, possibilities were presented for how the industry can reduce its ecological footprint. Through innovative processes and technologies that optimize the use of resources such as water, energy, and chemicals, companies can not only reduce costs but also actively contribute to environmental protection.
The importance of sustainable production was highlighted not only in the expert presentations but also by the exhibitors in the trade show. Practical solutions were presented to help companies make their processes more environmentally friendly and efficient.
In addition to sustainability, another key focus of the Surface Days was technological innovation. Numerous exhibitors presented their latest products and solutions—from modern coating technologies and digital process control systems to innovative measuring and analysis devices—the variety of new developments presented was impressive.
A particular highlight was the presentation of our own developments in the area of electrolyte management. Sebastian Breuckmann, Sales Director at DiTEC, presented an innovative tool that focuses on understanding and continuously reducing resource consumption inline. This solution enables real-time monitoring and optimization of chemical and water usage during processes, leading to more sustainable and efficient production.
At DiTEC, we also contribute to sustainability and innovation in the industry. As part of the ZVO Surface Days, we not only presented our advanced electrolyte management solution but also offered a teaser of the upcoming ProGal Version 5.0. This software solution will offer our customers even more options in the future to digitize and optimize their production processes.
Our participation in the event has shown that DiTEC is not only part of the discussion around sustainability and innovation but is also actively shaping the future of surface technology.
The ZVO Surface Days 2024 made it clear that the industry is on the path to a sustainable future. With innovative technologies and a growing awareness for the responsible use of resources, surface technology is becoming increasingly greener and more efficient. We are proud to be part of this development and look forward to the upcoming challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
